Meet Sheridan

Hi, I'm Sheridan, the speech-language pathologist and myofunctional therapist behind Lanz Integrated Therapies. I hold a Master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Chapman University and have completed additional training through the Academy of Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy (AOMT).

After several years working with toddlers and late talkers as a speech-language pathologist, I began noticing a pattern among clients with slower progress: for many of them, the missing piece wasn't more language strategies, but the anatomy and physiology of the mouth and airway. Around the same time, I began connecting some of my own health concerns to hypermobility and learned that hypermobility can also affect oral and airway function. That discovery sparked a growing focus in my practice on adult clients with hypermobility-related concerns. Ultimately, I'm passionate about helping children, adults, and family units achieve optimal health and well-being, not just a “good enough” baseline.
